Headliner Bottle Lottery FAQ

What is Headliner?

We've asked our distilling team to create something that is truly special, one of a kind, and a high expression of their creativity. The result is Headliner, which will become an annual release.

Year over year, the blend will change but it will always feature a headlining whiskey. This year, the headliner is 10-year-old New Riff Bourbon, from the first batch we ever distilled in June of 2014. It will be blended into a "supergroup" of whiskeys with rye and malted whiskey to represent our bourbon mashbill of 65% bourbon, 30% rye, 5% malted barley.

Since our founding in 2014 we’ve focused on making great whiskey as a vehicle for good. A significant portion of each Headliner bottle will be donated to charitable partners in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Those partners include Brighton Center, Horizon Fund and Green Umbrella. 

How do I get a bottle?

Anyone interested in purchasing a bottle must enter the Headliner Bottle Lottery. The lottery can be accessed HERE.

The Lottery closes at 11:59 PM EST on Sunday, July 7th. 

Each lottery entry is $5, which will be entirely donated to our charitable partners.

There is a limit of one (1) bottle per person. 

Why are you doing a lottery? 

This is an extremely limited release, and we anticipate that a lot of people will be interested in purchasing a bottle. To ensure that everyone has a fair chance, we are instituting a lottery where winners will be randomly selected.

Is this a New Riff Whiskey Club Release?

Headliner is not a New Riff Whiskey Club release. However, we are utilizing the Whiskey Club platform to conduct the bottle lottery and purchase process. You will need to create a Whiskey Club account to enter (it’s free!). 

There will be another New Riff Whiskey Club release later this year. Stay tuned! 

Can I purchase bottles in the gift shop or at my local liquor store?  

No. Headliner will NOT be available for sale in our gift shop or at retailers. The only way to purchase a bottle is through the official lottery. 

Can I enter the lottery more than once?

Yes. There is no limit on the number of entries per person, but there is a limit of 1 bottle per person, so you can’t win more than once. Each lottery entry is $5. 

How do I know if I won?

Winners will be notified via email on Monday, July 8th. They will have until 11:59 PM EST on Wednesday, July 10th to purchase their bottle through the New Riff Whiskey Club platform. 

Bottles that are not fully paid for by 11:59 PM EST on July 10th will be forfeited. 

Bottles may be picked up at the distillery beginning Thursday, July 11. 

How much does it cost?

Each bottle of Headliner costs $250.00 + tax. 

$125 from each bottle will be donated to charitable partners in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky: Brighton Center, Green Umbrella and Horizon Community Funds.

Each bottle purchase also includes a limited-edition screen printed Headliner poster. 

Can you ship it to me?

We cannot ship bottles of Headliner. They must be picked up at the gift shop. Bottles must be picked up between July 11 and October 13, 2024. 

Can I pick up a bottle for someone else? 

Yes! If you are planning to have someone else pick up your bottle, please include their name in the notes section of your order.  Upon pickup, please ensure they have your name and order number to help expedite the pick up process.

What if I don’t win?

Samples of this year's Headliner release will be available to purchase in The Aquifer Tasting Room.  A limited number of screen printed headliner posters will also be available for purchase online and in our gift shop. We encourage you to visit the distillery July 11 - 21 to help celebrate our 10th Anniversary!
