For the 2024 edition of Silver Grove Bourbon, we explored how whiskeys age, with barrels coming from the top two floors of our five story rickhouse in Newport, Kentucky. Aging in the hottest part of the warehouse led to powerful flavors and a somewhat elevated proof of 116.2. As with all New Riff spirits, Silver Grove Bourbon is bottled without chill filtration.

Appearance: Rich, viscous, dark amber color.
Nose: Dark red fruits and rye spice, rounding into aged oak, with hints of vanilla and cinnamon.
Taste: Deep, full mouthfeel, flowing briefly into dark brown sugars, then wood spices and tannins.
Finish: Extensive, spicy oak and rye, with macerated berries and a peppery dry finish.
